Harvard Square

Welcome to Revolution!

Our Mission is to live out what Jesus Christ proclaimed.

“The Spirit of the LORD is upon me, for  he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free, and that the time of the LORD’s favor has come.”                                                         Jesus | Luke 4:18-19

So Jesus explained, ‘I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by Himself. He does only what He sees the Father doing. Whatever the Father does, the Son also does.”         Jesus | John 5:19

“…you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”                    Jesus | Acts 1:8

We believe that Harvard Square is our Jerusalem, Cambridge and Greater Boston areas are our Judea and Samaria.  So whether you are new in town, a long-time resident, an undergrad student, a grad student, international student or you work in the area you are welcome at Revolution.  Where we desire to reach the world with the Gospel.

Revolution is a movement of radical love and obedience to Jesus Christ…

hear.  listen.  obey.

in our lives…
God knows everything about you and loves you. Come to Jesus just as you are, you don’t need to have it all figured out or be living the perfect life. He will meet you right where you are and we will love you right where you are. Jesus desires to intersect every part of who you are and see you become all that He created you to be. If you let Him, Jesus will transform you from the inside out. Psalm 1391-6; Matthew 22:36-40; 2 Corinthians 5:17

in our relationships…
People matter to God! Every relationship that you have in your life matters, because people matter. We strive to love Jesus and love people in every area of our life; our family, our friends, our enemies, our classmates, our work mates, our neighbors and anyone else we come in contact with. Jesus wants to affect every relationship in your life and to affect how you see people. It all begins with learning to be a servant, to surrender our life to Christ, so that we can love people as we should. We believe that life is meant to be lived out in true community. Matthew 22:36-40; Matthew 5:38-48; Philippians 2:3-5; Mark 10:43-45

in our past, our present and our future…
God has a plan for your life now and forever. God knows all things and has an amazing plan for your life right now, no matter what you have done or where you have been. We believe that God is a God of NOW! He is not so concerned with our yesterdays or even our tomorrows but desires that we would allow Him the freedom to work in and through us NOW. Put your trust in Jesus so He can lead you and direct you on the journey He has set before you. We all want our life to count and Jesus knows where and how your life will count the most. Psalm 139:13-16; Jeremiah 29:11-12; Romans 12:1-2; Romans 8:28; Ephesians 2:8-10; Proverbs 3:5-6

in our time, talent and treasure…
God is the Creator. We believe He is the source of life and everything finds its source in Him. God has given each one of us gifts and talents that are meant to be used for Him to bring glory to His name. We desire to see every gift and talent God has blessed you with submitted to Christ so you can walk them out in the context of the church and outside of the church, so that people may come to know their Creator. Jesus wants to be in the center of all your endeavors;academic, professional, artistic, social, everything. Ephesians 2:8-10; Matthew 25:14-30; Luke 12:42-48; Psalm 139:13-16

in our hopes and dreams…
God is the Dream giver and our Living Hope. We love to see God-sized dreams move from an impossibility in ourselves to a pursued reality in Christ. Where do your hopes and dreams come from? If what you are called to do is not bigger than you, it is probably not the will of God. In other words, if you can walk in the hopes and dreams you have without God, maybe God wants to enlarge your perspective of how big He is. Come and dream God-sized dreams with us. Ephesians 3:20; 1 Peter 1:3-5; Isaiah 54:2; 1 Chronicles 4:10
